It’s no secret that I love engagement portraits. I strongly believe every engaged couple should have engagement photos taken (you can read more about that here). In fact, I believe in the importance of engagement sessions so much that they are included in all of my wedding collections complementary. Not only is the session a great way to warm up to being photographed professionally, but you also walk away with some amazing portraits! Below are a few of my favorite ideas for what you can do with your engagement photos after your session:
We live in such a digital world that we often let our photos live online in folders without printing them. Be sure to print your photos!! Nothing connects you to the memory of a moment like holding a photo in your hand. Print them out and display them in your home as daily reminders of the love you share for each other!
Bachelor & Bachelorette Party Decor
Grace and Pete, my past wedding clients, used a few of their engagement photos to make large cutouts for their bachelor & bachelorette parties, how fricken fun is that!
You can use your engagement photos on your save-the-dates for the wedding! This has become so popular that I always ask my clients when they plan on sending their save-the-dates out to make sure we schedule their engagement session with enough time for me to deliver their portraits in time for them to order their save-the-dates.
Your Wedding Guest Book
The majority of my couples either book a wedding collection that includes an album or choose to purchase an album after their wedding day. A guest book with your engagement photos is the perfect companion for your wedding album. It also makes a beautiful display at your wedding reception!
Frame and display your photos in your home! This way you can enjoy them all the time! They will become daily reminders of how special your relationship is and the love you share!
Your Wedding Website!
Your engagement photos will love amazing on your wedding website and guests love to see your professional portraits!!
