DO YOU WORK WITH A SECOND SHOOTER?
Yes! I have a talented team I work with for wedding days. Together, we’ll work to capture dynamic perspectives and angles of moments as they take place.
Working with a second photographer is an essential part of my process of capturing candid, genuine portraits for my couples.
Depending on the scale and nature of your event, I may suggest we bring on additional photographers or assistants as needed.
DO YOU OFFER VIDEOGRAPHY?
I do not offer videography services. If you choose to have both video and photo coverage, I know how important it is to have a photo and video team that work together seamlessly. I’m happy to recommend Gabrielle Fordham Films, Brandon Lee Films, and Live Oak Films.
DO YOU TRAVEL?
Yes! While most of my couples have their weddings in the Finger Lakes region of New York & throughout New England, I’ve traveled all over the US for elopements, weddings, and engagements.
If you’re interested in destination portraits, you can reach out for my upcoming travel calendar, or we can arrange something based on both of our schedules.
WHAT IS YOUR PRICING?
Every wedding celebration is different, and because of this, I create custom proposals for every event. Investments for traditional weddings begin at $7000, with couples spending about $10000 for coverage of their celebrations.
HOW DO I RESERVE MY WEDDING DATE WITH YOU?
Once you’ve selected your date and determined your collection, I’ll prepare and send a photography contract for your review. Once I receive your contract and the $2500 photography retainer, your wedding date is officially booked! The final balance is due four weeks prior to your wedding date.
SHOULD I CREATE A SHOT LIST?
You’re busy enough already—my organized and detail-oriented approach ensures you’ll have more photos than you could ever need. Leading up to your wedding, I’ll be touching base with you to hear about your celebration during these times; I recommend bringing to my attention any special moments/traditions, heirlooms, or unique details you’d like captured that I might not be aware of.
WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY IMAGES?
You can expect to receive a sneak peek of 5-10 images the week following your wedding, and your full online gallery will be available to view within 6-8 weeks of your wedding.
HOW MANY IMAGES CAN WE EXPECT TO SEE IN OUR GALLERY
Every wedding celebration is unique, and because of this, I don’t include a specific image count. You can expect anywhere from 45 – 75 images per hour of coverage, though this is just an estimate.
WILL OUR IMAGES BE RETOUCHED?
I love working with an abundance of natural light because it’s simply beautiful and flattering; therefore, my portraits require very little retouching. Your final set of images will be corrected for color, cropped/straightened, and adjusted for exposure.
Images you’ve selected to include in your wedding album will receive additional basic retouching, which includes light blemish removal.
My preference is for your images to look and feel natural. Any adjustments made will be minimal, leaving your photographs looking like a true representation of your celebration.
Outsourced professional retouching is available by request. These may include hair, wardrobe, and makeup adjustments, head swapping, background or venue adjustments, distraction removal, etc., at a rate of $75/hour. A quote will be provided for your approval before commissioning any additional work.
WHAT’S YOUR APPROACH TO CAPTURING OUR CELEBRATION?
I’m very involved in crafting your wedding timeline—my goal is to ensure your timeline creates the space & time for you to enjoy your day as it unfolds while giving us the best natural light for effortlessly beautiful portraits.
Throughout the day, I capture a balance of directed portraits, location & detail photographs, and candid moments as they naturally unfold, leaving you with a curated collection of photographs that artfully tell the story of your celebration.
