For this boudoir photography session in Rochester, New York, I wanted the overall vibe to feel bright and joy-filled with a hint of flirty. With lingerie from Free People and Only Hearts, fresh florals, and fun accessories, and a bit of bubbly, model & muse Vi Memmott brought that vision to life.

I had a lot of fun planning this boudoir photography shoot for my studio space in Rochester, New York. With the pastel colors, fluffy hydrangeas, and a soft silk maxi skirt, mixed with the fact that we were experiencing 60-degree weather in February, this session gave me some serious spring fever.

For her first outfit, Vi wore a matching blue set from Free People. The light lace with frill accents was the perfect match of sophisticated and flirty for the boudoir photography session. Paired with blue and white lush hydrangeas from a local florist in Rochester, New York, and it was perfection.

Second Boudoir Look | Rochester New York Boudoir Session

For her second outfit, we paired a nude lingerie top with a silk, pleated maxi skirt. I love how we were able to add a sense of movement to some of the boudoir portraits with the long skirt. It made the outfit feel more playful.

About The Model & Muse

Vi was one of my very first boudoir clients shortly after I started offering boudoir photography in Rochester, New York. During her first shoot, it took five minutes for her to feel more like a friend than a client.

We spent the afternoon of her first shoot not only working to capture beautiful portraits but also talking and laughing. It felt like we had been old friends.

Since then, she has come back to my studio space in Rochester for more boudoir sessions. Every time she steps in front of my camera, I know we’re going to create magic.
