This wedding at The Memorial Art Gallery is intimate, intentional, and refined, with works of fine art serving as focal points in all areas of the venue.
On the afternoon of the wedding at The Memorial Art Gallery, both grooms helped each other get ready prior to stepping outside for portraits in the Gallery’s Gardens and inspiring architecture.
For a wedding in early October, the weather was pleasantly mild. The sun popped in and out of the clouds granting us some beautiful light for portraits.
The grooms stepped inside to enjoy the company of their immediate family and wedding party prior to the start of the ceremony.
The ceremony took place in the Fountain Court of the Memorial Art Gallery. The room was full of natural light, some of the museum’s most iconic art collections, and a beautiful Italian Baroque organ from Florence served as the stunning focal point. The organ featured is the centerpiece of an installation that highlights over 30 Baroque paintings and sculptures from the Memorial Art Gallery’s permanent collection.
With a clean white and neutral backdrop, the accents of gold & black popped during the ceremony.
The Fountain Court was filled with beautiful organ music as a visiting musician played during the heartfelt ceremony.
Guests were invited to explore and view all the collections and artwork of the Memorial Art Gallery during the cocktail hour.
A joyous reception followed the cocktail hour in the Memorial Art Gallery’s stunning ballroom.
