The aesthetics behind this Rochester, New York Boudoir look was elevated and minimalist. We kept the backdrop and details simple so that the focus of the portraits would fall on the beauty of the subject. For our first look, she paired a neutral lace matching set with a simple white cotton button-down shirt. Both options are items from the Curated Client Closet.
Secondly to transition into her next look, she paired her initial lace matching set with a lace cover-up from her personal collection. I love how this simple piece created such a statement in her portraits. I loved the way the sheer lace coverup added something extra to all of her silhouette portraits, and that black & white look just gave it something extra!
Finally, to end the session, she wore a bold and defining bodysuit from the Curated Client Closet.
The lace detailing along the chest and mid-section of this bodysuit are some of my favorites. The floral embellishments are subtle, but give the otherwise simple bodysuit something extra.
We incorporated loose florals into some of the portraits to complement the feminine vibe. You can see one portrait (below, middle) where we utilized a stem of Stargazer lilies. It was a simple touch but I love how the floral stems pair so nicely with the floral embroidery on the black bodysuit.
